Charlotte, NC – The sparkle of a diamond can be mesmerizing, especially if it is the Boston-raised and Los Angeles based rock-n-roller Diamante Azzura Bovelli. Bold, bright, and beautiful, the iridescent blue-haired Diamante awed the crowd gathered at the PNC Music Pavilion on Saturday night with an impressive energy and passion. She was joined in the electrifying performance by Neil Swanson (guitar), Dre Dimura (guitar), Matthew Denis (bass), and Harley Dewinter (drums).
Diamante is currently on tour with Breaking Benjamin, Three Days Grace, Chevelle, and Dorothy, in support of her debut album, Coming In Hot. The album features tracks “Haunted” and “Had Enough“. She has also recently released a new song “When I’m Not Around”. Written by legendary songwriter Diane Warren, Diamante has said, “The song perfectly describes my experience with love time and time again: constantly feeling unappreciated by someone who doesn’t know what they have until it’s gone. I knew the song would be vocally challenging to record, and because of that, I feel I was really able to pour my soul into the song through the vocal delivery.”
Diamante opens the night on the current tour, so get there early! For upcoming show dates, visit HERE.
