Richmond, VA – UPS lost her amp and the replacement rental, delivered in emergency fashion, ‘blew up’. In the blink of an eye, there were no Orange Amps to be had for Orianthi‘s performance at the Tin Pan in Richmond on June 10, 2026. Despite the adversity, to say she killed it would be an understatement. From the time of the very first note until the end, even while she was posing front of stage for fan pictures, she had the Tin Pan audience eating out of her riff-intensive hands! I have seen a lot of great performances at the Tin Pan over the years, but this one was definitely one of the best.
Orianthi took the stage quietly, which quickly changed, when she and the band got the Tin Pan crowd going with, “First Time Blues” followed by “Sinner’s Hymn“. Take a listen below while you close your eyes and you may get an idea of the vibe in the venue. This was going to be one heck of a night!
Orianthi did a bit to cater to every taste, whether pop, country, Blues, Rock, or you name it. After “Rescue Me” she did a cover of “Sharp Dressed Man“, talking up her professional relationship with the Reverend himself. There was dancing in the seats and even a bit of dancing in front of the stage. The Tin Pan was hopping!!
She even purchased an acoustic guitar (she mentioned something about this is what guitar collectors do) at the Music and Arts store next door and jammed a little acoustic with “Love Somebody Like You” and “Before You Accuse Me“.
As the night wound down, she finished with “How Do You Sleep“, “According to You” (her first song), and the iconic, “Voodoo Child“.
After her last note, almost no one left, including Orianthi. Rock and Blues does something to a soul and Orianthi shared her soul with her fans, staying long after the stage lights were out and the house music started to play, posing for selfies (and even actual pics) with her fans, old a new, at the Tin Pan.
