Anderson, SC – Operation Music Fest packed the first day of a two-day festival with a bag full of rock ‘n’ roll to please the soul. That Friday afternoon at Denver Downs the sun was shining bright and temperatures remained high, reminding all in attendance that summer wasn’t ready to slow down in South Carolina!
Headliner Bret Michaels and The Bret Michaels Band – Pete Evick (guitar),
Eric Brittingham (bass), Rob Jozwiak (keyboards), and Mike Bailey (drums) showed the crowd Nothin’ But A Good Time and gave them Something To Believe In, while Sebastian Bach and his band – Brent Woods (guitar), Rob De Luca (bass), and Bobby Jarzombek (drums) weren’t about Monkey Business, but instead took the audience back to their Youth Gone Wild and helped us remember yesterday.

With Operation Music Fest setting out to benefit Task Force Resolute, no tribute to our American Troops and their families would be complete without taking a moment for the National Anthem (sung by Eric Boatright of Shallow Side) and the memorable moment of the Special Forces Association Parachute Team dropping in!
