Indianapolis, IN. – Friday night found the Murat Theatre packed full of fans in their cowboy boots, hats, and Wrangler jeans to enjoy the first night of a two-evening performance by one of Country music’s most beloved groups – Little Big Town.

Opening the evening’s show was Minnesota’s own Caitlyn Smith, currently touring in support of her 2nd studio release Supernova, due out March 13th via Monument Records.  Engaging the crowd, Caitlyn spoke of performing with her husband, Rollie Gaalswyk, while also touring with their two young children on the road. Giving a powerhouse performance full of emotion and grit, you can understand why Rolling Stone Magazine mentioned Caitlyn in their “10 New Country Artists You Need To Know” of 2016!

After a brief intermission, a sheer curtain draped the front of the stage and the audience started to roar as they watched the silhouettes of Karen Fairchild, Jimi Westbrook, Kimberly Schlapman and Phillip Sweet, otherwise known as Little Big Town, appear on stage behind the curtain.  As the lights slowly came up behind the performers, they started the set with “Next to You“, singing in beautiful four-part harmony while still silhouetted through the curtain. After the curtain dropped the foursome continued to take the adoring crowd on a journey through the new album, Nightfall, along with all their other beloved hits including “Day Drinking“, “Sober“, “Better Man” and “Girl Crush” to name a few.
