Indianapolis, IN.The final stop of the Broken Mirror Tour brought a packed and energized crowd to the Egyptian Room at Old National Centre in Indianapolis, where Architects closed out the run with a performance that felt equal parts celebration and emotional release. Playing to a full house, the British metalcore powerhouse delivered a set that balanced crushing heaviness with atmospheric grandeur, proving once again why they remain one of the genre’s most commanding live acts. The Indianapolis crowd responded with nonstop movement from the opening moments, turning the Egyptian Room into a wall of bodies, raised fists, and deafening singalongs.

Opening the night was Los Angeles-based outfit Holywatr, who wasted no time establishing a dark and immersive tone. Fronted by vocalist Patrick Holy,” the band leaned heavily into their blend of shoegaze textures, post-hardcore aggression, and nu-metal grooves. Their set built steadily from moody ambience into explosive breakdowns, with tracks like “nail polish” and “Fade” resonating strongly with early arrivals who clearly already knew the material. Holywatr’s ability to shift between haunting melody and raw intensity made them a fitting opener for the tour, and by the end of their set the room was fully engaged and primed for the headliners.

When Architects finally emerged, the reaction was immediate and overwhelming. Vocalist Sam Carter controlled the room with his trademark mix of ferocity and sincerity, seamlessly alternating between guttural aggression and soaring melodic passages. Drummer Dan Searle and percussianist Ryan Burnett anchored the performance with relentless precision, while guitarist Adam Christianson and Martyn Evans along with bassist Alex Dean provided the dense sonic weight that has become synonymous with the band’s modern era. The production amplified the experience with dramatic lighting, massive sound, and cinematic transitions that elevated songs like “Whiplash,” “Broken Mirror,” and “Everything Ends” into arena-sized moments despite the intimate confines of the Egyptian Room
