The Lumineers share two new songs from their soon to be released album, Automatic: “You’re All I Got” and “So Long.” Automatic will arrive on Friday, February 14.

Automatic will be The Lumineers’ fifth studio album and will be their first new album in over three years. The album’s earlier single, “Same Old Song,” made the top ten on both the Alternative (#8) and AAA (#9) radio charts.
Wesley Schultz describes the immediacy of “So Long”, explaining,
“We truly did that song live, in the moment. I think there’s a magic in there, and that’s what you hear coming off that track.”
Regarding “You’re All I Got”,
“It’s on the edge of where I can hit a note, so you feel that tension. When you’re saying to someone, ‘You’re all I got,’ it carries that same raw emotion.”
Recorded in less than a month, the album, as Schultz says, feels
“very much of this era.”
With songs like the self-effacing “Asshole” and “Better Day” revealing intimacy and subtle humor, Automatic is true to The Lumineers’ image and includes shadowy themes in upbeat melodies.
Fraites calls it
“a palpable sense of connection between Wes and me. There’s lots of love on this record.”
The Lumineers have also announced the North American leg of their Automatic 2025 world tour. Special guests for the tour will be Young The Giant, St. Vincent, Nathaniel Rateliff & The Night Sweats, Lake Street Dive, Vance Joy, The Backseat Lovers, Dr. Dog, Hippo Campus, Tom Odell, and Chance Peña.
