Noblesville, IN. – Sunday June 16th brought some iffy weather to Noblesville, IN and surrounding areas, but that didn’t stop one of the hottest tickets this summer with co-headliners Young the Giant / Fitz and The Tantrums along with special guest Coin. This show was originally schedule to take place in Indianapolis at the Lawn at White River State Park but was moved to Ruoff Home Mortgage Music Center to help the crowd out with the reluctant weather and put them under a roof.
Fans dealt with the change in venues no problem and the show kicked off with an energetic set from Coin. Next up was Fitz and the Tantrums and they continued the energy and definitely gave it their all despite the humid conditions and impending weather. The storms held off for their set, but it didn’t take long before they were upon Ruoff and a 45 minute rain delay came into play. Unfortunately for this correspondent, I was unable to wait out the delay. As the weather settled, Young the Giant were finally able to take the stage for their loyal, patient fans. I heard it was an amazing performance and well worth the wait for those that braved the conditions.
This tour continues across the U.S. through August with a quick European run to follow in September! Check here for dates and enjoy pictures from the first two sets below.
