Spartanburg, SC – Headlining a Southern winter, Saturday evening filled with nostalgic, feel-great music, was alternative rock band, Sister Hazel. The crowd gathered at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium (SMA) did their fair share of dancing and singing along to all Ken Block, Jett Beres, Andrew Copeland, Ryan Newell, and Mark Trojanowski had to offer. The band was joined by Cravin’ Melon, who opened the show.

Sister Hazel may have propelled to platinum status back in 1997 with their adult alternative chart topping song “All for You”, although they have continued to maintain a loyal fanbase (known as Hazelnuts). The band hosts annual events like “Hazelnut Hang” and was a pioneer in themed cruise experiences by co-founding “The Rock Boat,” which focuses on fan involvement and interaction.  The band’s most recent album, Before The Amplifiers 2 (released December 10, 2021), is a 16-track collection of rare acoustic performances accompanied by a string quartet which features a selection of greatest hits from over the years.
