Indianapolis, IN. – After a few songs by the band to get the crowd going, Jamey Johnson casually walked out onto stage Thursday night to an intimate crowd in the Egyptian Room at Old National Centre. Adjusting the microphone, Jamey got right to what he is known for best; singing and songwriting and reminding us what old-school country was all about.  Wearing a guitar that was worn, cracked, and signed by some of country music’s biggest names, Jamey treated fans to a set list that included some of his greatest hits, along with covers by some of country music’s most beloved performers like The Carter Family, Keith Whitley, Jerry Reed, and Merle Haggard (whose signature is on his guitar!).

Jamey and his band of outlaws will be traveling across the U.S. through Spring so make sure to check here for remaining tour dates.

I am a freelance photographer based in Indianapolis, Indiana specializing in concert and event photography. With my childhood love for music and photography plus the added influence from my mother (a Broadway Company Manager) and later from my husband (a live sound engineer) it seemed only natural to combine my passions and pursue my craft more seriously. I have been blessed with great opportunities to shoot fabulous performers and look forward to sharing my work and new adventures with Digital Beat Magazine. Be sure to look for me in the pit at the next show...
