It’s been a couple years since the multi-platinum rock band Papa Roach has put out an album, but fans will be happy to know that all changes on March 19th when the band releases Greatest Hits Vol. 2: The Better Noise Years. This second greatest hits album will highlight the past decade the band has been signed to Better Noise Music (a division of Better Noise Entertainment) and features 21 newly remastered tracks, along with previously unreleased remixes and a couple of acoustic recordings from “Live from the YouTube Studios” in New York City.
Known for their nu metal sound of mixing heavy metal and hip-hop, the band featuring members: Jacoby Shaddix (lead vocals), Jerry Horton (guitar), Tobin Esperance (bass) and Tony Palermo (drummer) have built a solid fan base during their career with over 2 billion streams and 7.5+ million monthly Spotify listeners with a combined social reach of 9.7 million fans!
“We wanted to commemorate the last 10 years of our journey with a sampling of the music that got us here” shares guitarist Jerry Horton. “None of it could have been possible with the support of all of our families, our friends, or team and most of all, you – our fans!”
The collection of songs includes over 20 Top 5 Active Rock singles, 13 of which occurred in the past decade including four #1 singles! To celebrate the release of the compilation with fans, the band will host a special livestream on March 19th at 2pm PST/5pm EST on their social channels, in addition to all of Better Noise Music’s channels. The free event will include an in-conversation discussion hosted by Allison Hagendorf (Head of Rock at Spotify and host of the show “Rock This with Allison Hagendorf”). The band will be joined by special guests Maria Brink (In This Moment), Jason Evigan (Producer and Songwriter for “Born of Greatness”), and Michael Lombardi (Actor/Producer – The Retaliators). The broadcast will also include the WORLD PREMIERE of the video for “Broken As Me” featuring Danny Warsnop from Asking Alexandria.
The band released the first single off the greatest hits album, The Ending (Remastered 2020) in November 2020 that has an accompanying music video comprised of footage from the upcoming Better Noise Films horror-thriller movie THE RETALIATORS which should hit theaters in Fall 2021 and will feature vocalist Jacoby Shaddix’s motion picture debut. Recently, the band collaborated with Tik-Tok star/up-and-coming artist Jeris Johnson on a new version of Papa Roach’s iconic hit, “Last Resort” titled appropriately “Last Resort Reloaded”.
