Indianapolis, IN. – We can’t say this enough, “LIVE MUSIC IS BACK!” and Indianapolis showed up on a Monday night to show their appreciation with Modest Mouse. Fresh off the big weekend in Chicago with Lollapalooza, Modest Mouse filled the Egyptian Room at Old National Centre for the first time in over 16 months. It was great to see the fans return and hear the sounds throughout the venue after such a long shutdown. There were some new policies in place for fans to adhere to that included contactless tickets, credit/debit card payment only (no cash) along with a clear bag policy that also restricted the size of bag.
You could feel the anticipation and energy as the stage lights dimmed and band members Isaac Brock (lead vocal, guitar), Jeremiah Green (drums, percussion), Tom Peloso (upright bass, keyboard), Russell Highbee (bass, rhythm guitar), Ben Massarella (percussion, effects), and Simon O’Conner (lead guitar) took the stage. Having seven studio albums to choose from, the band weaved several fan favorites into their setlist while still focusing the on their new album, The Golden Casket, out now on Epic Records.
Modest Mouse is currently out touring behind The Golden Casket album until October 2021. Make sure to check here for a complete list of show dates to see if they are coming to a town near you.
