Indianapolis, IN. – It was a gorgeous night at The Lawn at White River State Park and this particular line-up featuring jam bands Moe. and Blues Traveler, along with a solo appearance by G. Love, brought all the boogie you would expect for an evening under the stars!

Kicking the night off was Philly favorite, Garrett Dutton a.k.a. G. Love (minus the Sauce) on guitar and harmonica to get the crowd groovin’ while they settled onto the lawn.

Next up was blues favorite, Blues Traveler, featuring members John Popper (lead vocals, harmonica), Chan Kinchla (guitar), Todd Kinchla (bass), Ben Wilson (keyboards), and Brendan Hill (drums). The band gave a solid mix of old and new hits, highlighting songs off their 2018 release Hurry Up & Hang Around.

After a quick pause, members of Moe. joined members of Blues Traveler for a killer rendition of The Band’s “Ophelia” before John Popper and G. Love returned to the stage and treated fans to a blues jam filled with dueling harmonicas, guitar licks and a side of Philly hip-hop thrown in. The collaboration of all bands sweetly rolled into a cover of Cheap Tricks “I Want You to Want Me”, leaving the audience singing and dancing along before the bands took a brief break for a quick set change.

It was finally time for Moe. to take the stage. Band members Rob Derhak (bass, vocals), Chuck Garvey (guitar, vocals), Al Schnier (guitar, keys, mandolin, vocals), Vinny Amico (drums) and Jim Loughlin (percussion, malletkat, flute, acoustic guitar, drums, piccolo bass, washboard) got right into what they do best, JAM!
