Allegan, MI – Bush, Live and Our Lady Peace helped kick off the first weekend of the Allegan County Fair in Allegan, Michigan on September 7, 2019. The ALT-IMATE Tour celebrates the 25th anniversary of Bush’s Sixteen Stone and Live’s Throwing Cooper, with special guest Our Lady Peace. These alternative rock pioneers gave fans a great night of their best 90’s hit songs mixed with their new releases.
The evening started with Canadian alternative band Our Lady Peace. Formed in 1992, this award winning, multi platinum album band now consists of Raine Maida (vocalist), Steve Mazur (guitar), Duncan Coutts (bassist), and Jason Pierce (drums). Our Lady Peace is one of Canada’s most popular rock bands. A great way to start the show with expressive vocals, textured guitar, and awesome riffs. The fans were ready to rock.

Next on stage was Bush and WOW! Gavin Rossdale (lead singer, guitarist), Cory Brizt (guitar), Chris Traynor (bass), and Nik Hughes (drums) are powerful and engaging. The energy they allowed to flow through their playing, singing, and performing electrified the arena. An unforgettable moment was when Gavin Rossdale ran from the stage to the top of the arena and back while singing “Little Things.” High Fives, hand shakes, hugs, and selfies gave fans a up close and personal moment.

The last set was performed by Live Beginning their set with hit song, All Over You, it was clear that the 90’s were back. Ed Kowalczyk (vocalist, guitar), Chad Taylor (guitar, backing vocals), Patrick Dahlheimer (bass), and Chad Gracey (drums) performed both hits from their career as well as cover songs from R.E.M and The Rolling Stones.
