Simpsonville, SC – Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas of TLC took to the road this Fall on their 2021 ‘Celebration of CrazySexyCool’ National Tour. Joined by Bone Thugs-N-Harmony, the 90’s themed evening included all the fashion, fan-interaction, and dancing you could imagine to drop you right back to 1994, twenty-seven years after the Diamond-certified album CrazySexyCool was released.
The crowd packed the CCNB Amphitheatre at Heritage Park and went wild for all things TLC, as the female powerhouse beautifully delivered number one hits, such as “Creep” and “Waterfalls”, with fire and zeal. The ladies charged through their plentiful setlist while the energy of the production lit up the stage. It was an evening of sizzle and sway, at the helm was the unstoppable force of faithful friends.
TLC has had quite the journey, with remarkable hills and devastating valleys, including the loss of their third member Lisa “Left Eye” Lopes, who died in a car crash in 2002. The group continues to have a lasting influence on music, fashion, and female empowerment. Tionne’s book “A Sick Life” chronicles her experience with sickle cell anemia – an inherited, chronic illness affecting the red blood cells. She is a proven warrior and advocate, bringing awareness and hope to an often misunderstood disease.
The embodiment of strength, TLC also reinforces the value of friendship, fans and family, while demonstrating that they are still a force to be reckoned with.
