The Class of 2020 will have some interesting stories to tell their kids. While we may have told our children the first time we saw Elvis in concert after walking three miles in three feet of snow… barefoot, our kids will be sharing stories of driving around the racetrack, remote classes, virtual meetings, and any number of creative graduation ceremonies.
To recognize the massive number of high school and college seniors missing out on proms, graduations, and other rights of passage only known to seniors, Pray For Sleep dedicated their new single, “Blood Is Not Blue,” to the Class of 2020. The video was filmed in quarantine, while practicing social distancing. Two of the band members have siblings that are seniors this year, making the situation even more personal.
On June 5th, Pray For Sleep will host a live streaming concert where they will perform “Blood Is Not Blue” plus additional songs from Behind Our Eyes. The event will be broadcast at 7 pm ET from JCR Studios in Marion, Ohio and can be viewed HERE.
Vocalist Grant DeCrane says, “We are super excited to be able to perform these songs for our fans. We know it’s not the same as a live show, but we are excited to work with Brian and JCR Studios—their streamed shows have been great! Be sure to check out the show as there might be a few surprises!”
