Indianapolis, IN. – Magical music makers Thievery Corporation brought their Babylon Falling Tour to The Vogue Theatre Friday evening in the Broad Ripple cultural district. Awaiting fans could be seen lined up and down the street, as a “Standing Room Only” sign was quickly taped to the entrances. It didn’t take long for this two-story theatre to fill up while beats from Ekhodom (a side project of Thieve’s Eric Hilton) played in the background.
Thievery Corporation consists of electronic producers Rob Garza and Eric Hilton, along with touring members Ashish “Hash” Vyas (bass), Rob Myers (sitar, guitar), Jeff Franca (Drums), Frank Orrall (percussion, drums, vocals) and vocalists Natalia Clavier, Loulou Ghelichkhani, Shana Halligan, Racquel Jones, Mr. Lif, Notch, and Puma. The band had the packed room dancing and grooving from a catalog that spans over 20 years and eight studio albums.
Thievery Corporation continues the Babylon Falling Tour through the end of December, as they make their way across the U.S. and Canada. Be sure to follow them on all socials to keep up to date on the latest Thieve’s news.
