The Offspring Supercharges West Palm Beach, Fl With Help From Jimmy Eat World and New Found Glory

West Palm Beach, Fl – The humid Florida air crackles with anticipation as thousands of fans pour into the iTHINK Financial Amphitheatre for one of the most electrifying lineups of the summer. The Supercharged Tour, headlined by punk rock titans The Offspring, with support from emo-alt legends Jimmy Eat World and pop-punk stalwarts New Found Glory, promises a night of high-octane anthems and cathartic singalongs. This, the first show of the Supercharged World Tour, promises to be an energetic experience.  From the first power chord to the final encore, the evening is a celebration of three bands who helped define a generation—and who still know exactly how to command a stage.

Opening the night with a blast of energy, New Found Glory proves once again why they’re hailed as the godfathers of pop-punk. Jordan Pundik (vocals), Chad Gilbert (guitar, backing vocals), Ian Grushka (bass), and Cyrus Bolooki (drums) waste no time igniting the crowd with “Understatement“, followed by “All Downhill From Here.” Their set is a sugar rush of nostalgia, blending early 2000s anthems with deeper cuts and fan-favorite covers.

Pundik’s vocals are as sharp as ever, and Gilbert’s guitar work is both crunchy and melodic, especially on “Hit or Miss”. The band’s chemistry is undeniable, and their stage banter keeps the crowd laughing between songs. They close with “My Friends Over You,” leaving the audience sweaty, smiling, and ready for more.

Jimmy Eat World takes the stage next, and the mood shifts from rowdy to reverent. Jim Adkins (lead vocals, lead guitar), Tom Linton (rhythm guitar, backing vocals), Rick Burch (bass), and Zach Lind (drums) deliver a set that’s both sonically tight and emotionally resonant.

Opening with “Pain,” the band weaves through a career-spanning setlist that includes “Sweetness,” “Big Casino,” and the soaring “Bleed American.” Adkins’ voice is raw and powerful, especially on “The Middle,” which becomes a massive singalong. The band’s musicianship is pristine, and their ability to balance introspection with anthemic energy is unmatched. It’s a masterclass in alternative rock.

Headliners The Offspring explode onto the stage with “Come Out and Play,” and the amphitheater erupts. Dexter Holland (vocals, guitar), Noodles (lead guitar), Todd Morse (bass), Jonah Nimoy (rhythm guitar, keys), and Brandon Pertzborn (drums) deliver a relentless set that spans decades of punk rock dominance. The Supercharged tour supports The Offspring’s eleventh studio album of the same name, which was released on October 11, 2024.

Holland’s vocals are fierce, and Noodles’ guitar solos are razor-sharp. The band tears through hits like “Original Prankster,” “Why Don’t You Get a Job?,” and “Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)” with the same ferocity that made them icons. Newer tracks like “Make It All Right” from their 2024 album Supercharged blend seamlessly with classics. They have a playful moment midshow where Noodles and the team tear though snips of “Smoke on The Water”, “Iron Man”, and “Detroit Rock City”.  The show includes giant skeletal blowups, pyro and beach balls. They close with “Self Esteem,” and the crowd roars in approval, fists in the air. A fantastic and enthusiastic start to the Supercharged World Tour for The Offspring.
