Italian melodic and symphonic metalers, TEMPERANCE will release its new album, Arcani, on October 16. They just released the third single from the album, “The Tower: Lean Into Fear,” delving into the album’s Tarot-driven theme. “The Tower: Lean Into Fear” hits with rocking riffs and the vocal power of vocalist Kristin Starkey.
Since forming, the band has released seven studio albums and toured with the incomparable Tarja Turunen. In 2026, TEMPERANCE are set to embark on a European tour with labelmates KAMELOT and EXIT EDEN, starting November 1.

“‘The Tower’ is one of the more feared cards to draw in a tarot reading, which can be summarized as the soul needing to go through great trial and tribulation to grow and flourish. Sometimes the right path is the most painful one, and sometimes we need to lean into that fear to become the best versions of ourselves. We try to avoid these pains, but once one realizes that these pains, scars, and trials are necessary for learning life’s lessons, we flourish. Lean into fear.”
