From their new album To Better Days, the rock band Slaves release a new single/video “Cursed”. This is a follow up from their latest release “Eye Opener“, which was released in July of this year.
Drummer Zack Baker, guitarists Wes Richmond and Felipe Sanchez, bassist Colin Vieira, and vocalist Matt McAndrew announced the band will be changing their name. This follows the footsteps of other bands, that have changed their name, such as Lady A, The Chicks. The name ‘Slaves’ was originally referenced to “personal demon of addiction”, according to the press release. It continues with “that the change has been a long time in the making and is important NOW more than ever”. No word on the new name.
