Indianapolis, IN – Thursday night’s line-up brought out rock fans young and old to The Deluxe inside Old National Centre.

Kicking off the evening was The Meridian City, an upcoming band based out of Indianapolis, IN, consisting of band members Anthony Campus (Guitar/Vocals), Jacob Dodd (Guitar/Vocals), Justin Quigley (Drum/Vocals) and Zach Hall (Bass/Vocals).  Highlighting songs off their first EP, The Come Up, the set was full of passion and energy and these boys are definitely on their way to making a name for themselves on the Rock-n-Roll scene.

Next up was another local favorite, Saint Aubin, a power trio based out of Indianapolis.  Showcasing songs off their forthcoming album, ‘Losing Control’, the set was filled with swirling guitar riffs and pulsing ambient sounds.  Featuring Vocals, Guitar, Drums, and Bass Synth, band members Fredrick Miller III, Travis St. Aubin, and Scott Moran are creating a sound and energy all their own.  Keep a watch out for these boys as they are a force to be reckonend with!

Finally, it was time for the main event – Red Sun Rising! This alt-rock band from Akron, OH knows how to deliver every time! It doesn’t matter if it’s a small intimate crowd or a huge arena show, RSR gives their all and raises the energy in the room! I was excited to catch RSR on “The Peel Tour” after having caught them opening for Stone Sour a couple years back.  (And trust me, they did not disappoint!!) Showcasing songs off their new EP released in March 2019, Peel, along with fan favorites from their 2018 sophomore album, Thread and 2015’s Polyester Zeal. Band members Mike Protich (Vocals/Guitar), Ryan Williams (Guitar), Dave McGarry (Guitar), Ricky Miller (Bass), and Pat Gerasia (Drums) draw you into their world and demand your attention for the duration of their set.  This was the second to last show of the current tour and you could tell that all members were performing like a well oiled machine. Keep a watch out for Red Sun Rising in the future as this band is here to stay!!
