Indianapolis, IN. – Metal was on the bill and the house was SOLD OUT! This combination only guaranteed one outcome – the night was going to be EPIC! BEARTOOTH was wrapping up their North American Tour and brought along THE PLOT IN YOU, INVENT ANIMATE, AND SLEEP THEORY for support. If you weren’t in the Egyptian Room at Old National Centre for this line-up, you were only going to have two more opportunities to catch this killer show before all was said and done. Unfortunately, the tour wrapped up on March 14th in Fort Wayne, IN.
Straight out of Columbus, OH., headliners BEARTOOTH featuring Caleb Shomo (vocals), Oshie Bichar (bass, backing vocals), Conner Denis (drums, backing vocals), Zach Huston (lead guitar, backing vocals) and Will Deely (rhythm guitar, backing vocals) were out in support of their fifth studio album The Surface (out now via Red Bull Records). As mentioned, the tour is now over but you’ll still get a chance to see them this summer as they hit a couple festivals this coming July (Rock Fest in Cadott, WI. and Upheaval in Grand Rapids, MI.) before heading overseas to rock the masses. We look forward to catching them at UPHEAVAL this year!! Hope to see you there.

THE PLOT IN YOU
The PLOT IN YOU is a metalcore band out of Hancock Co., OH. featuring members Landon Tewers (vocals), Ethan Yoder (bass), John Lewis Childress (guitar) and Michael Cooper (drums). Unfortunately, they don’t have any upcoming U.S. dates but do head overseas in September. Fingers crossed some summer dates will be added as these guys are FIRE live. In the meantime, you can check out their new EP’s Vol. 1 (out now via FEARLESS RECORDS) and Vol. 2 set to release May 24th.

INVENT ANIMATE
INVENT ANIMATE is a metalcore band formed in Port Neches, TX. featuring Marcus Vik (vocals), Keaton Goldwire (guitar), Trey Celaya (drums) and Caleb Sherraden (bass). No U.S. dates currently listed but do head to Australia in August followed by a run in the U.K. in September. They have a new single currently out “Sleepless Deathbed” (via UNFD). Hope to hear more from these guys in the near future.
SLEEP THEORY
Sleep Theory is a metalcore band with bluesy grooves formed out of Memphis, TN. and features Cullen Moore (vocals), Paolo Vergara (bass), and brothers Daniel Pruitt (guitar, backing vocals) and Ben Pruitt (drums). This band hit the charts hard and fast earlier in 2023 but don’t let the algorithms fool you as they deserve to be there! Currently out in support of their EP Paper Hearts (out now via Epitaph Records) they join up with the Veil of Maya/Wage War/Nothing More Tour in April, along with select dates with Staind/Seether/Asking Alexandria. Make sure to check their website or local listings for a date near you. They will also be making an appearance at UPHEAVAL this year and we can’t wait!
