Magnolia Bayou Releases New Video for Cover of House Blues Hall of Fame Inducted Eddie James “Son” House, “Preachin Blues'”

Southern Blues / Rock Band, from the state of Mississippi, Magnolia Bayou released a new music video cover of the Blues Hall of Fame inductee, Eddie James “Son” House classic tune “Preachin’ Blues.” This is the fourth single off of the band’s upcoming album, Strange Place (scheduled to be released September 24th, 2020). The video “Preachin’ Blues” was shot and edited by Autumn Leith (WICKED & WONDER) & John Reyes (JOHN REYES NETWORKS).

Magnolia Bayou’s distinctive bluesy sound is a product of their musical influences covering the likes of Robert Johnson, Sonny Boy Williamson II, Howlin’ Wolf, John Lee Hooker, and Son House. The band has toured with groups/artists like Whiskey Myers, Wet Willie, Ray Wylie Hubbard, Fantastic Negrito, Tyler Childers, Ian Moore, Aaron Lewis, Bishop Gunn, and Black Stone Cherry.
