Hollywood, FL – On August 5, 2023, a balmy summer Saturday evening in South Florida, the Counting Crows bring the Banshee Season tour to the Hard Rock Live at the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Hollywood, FL. The venue, the home of the iconic Guitar Hotel, hosts a great night of music, indoors thankfully, given the sweltering heat that has been all but melting everything over the past 45 days, at least.
The Banshee Season tour, a 54 date tour, has the Counting Crows touring the country starting in Omaha, Nebraska and culminating with the final show at the historic Red Rocks Amphitheater in Morrison, Co. The Counting Crows are on the road with Dashboard Confessional opening most shows on the tour.
Dashboard Confessional, hailing from Boca Raton in South Florida, kicks off the night and immediately captures the crowd’s attention. Frontman Chris Carrabba wastes no time in addressing the crowd and sharing his excitement for this homecoming show and the opportunity to perform for friends and family, calling out several by name, including a member of another Florida based band, New Found Glory.
