From their latest release, Trauma, Detroit own I Prevail released a new single/video “Every Time You Leave”. The video takes a close, hard, and unsettling look at the difficulties and traumas faced by the people and the families who are on the frontlines of both sides of a war. Featured on the single is Juno-nominated Canadian vocalist Delaney Jane. Earlier this month I Prevail shared an acoustic version of “Every Time You Leave” recorded during the quarantine and shared on YouTube.
I Prevail continue to grow as a band. The band has generated nearly 500 million streams on last year’s sophomore blockbuster Trauma. The group also received nominations for two GRAMMY Awards in 2020 — in the categories of “Best Rock Album” for Trauma and for “Best Metal Performance” for the single “Bow Down.”
I Prevails current lineup include Brian Burkheiser (clean vocals), Eric Vanlerberghe (harsh vocals), Steve Menoian (lead guitar), and Dylan Bowman (rhythm guitar).
