Noblesville, IN. – They had so much fun in 2023 they decided to do it again in 2024! FREAKS ON PARADE TOUR featuring co-headliners ROB ZOMBIE and ALICE COOPER joined forces once again with MINISTRY and FILTER to pack RUOFF MUSIC CENTER on a Saturday night for almost five hours of music – If you’re a fan of Industrial Metal and Shock Rock then this is the tour for you! Concertgoers of all ages got to witness legendary rock icons as they powered through their energizing sets proving over and over again that you’re never to old to rock-n-roll!

Kicking off the nights festivities was FILTER featuring Richard Patrick (vocals), Jonathan Radtke (guitar, backing vocals), “Rotten” Bobby Miller (bass, backing vocals) and Tosh Peterson (drums). The band wasted no time getting down to business highlighting songs off their first three albums Short Bus, Title of Record, & The Amalgamut while only teasing fans with one song from their most recent album 2023’s The Algorithm

Setlist: You Walk Away * (Can’t You) Trip Like I Do * Obliteration * Take A Picture * Welcome to the Fold * Hey Man Nice Shot

Next up was the Godfather of Industrial Metal Al Jourgensen (vocals) and his lifetime passion project, a.k.a. Ministry, featuring band members Cesar Soto (guitar), Monte Pittman (guitar), Paul D’Amour (bass), John Bechdel (keyboard) and Pepe Clarke Magaña (drums). Known to be one of the loudest bands around, Ministry takes the vibe to a whole other level; stimulating both mind and body with their heavy synth-pop sound. Ministry’s set was over way to fast (in my opinion) but “Uncle Al” capitalized on the time they had by treating fans to favorite tracks from their catalogue, along with leading the crowd to a sing-a-long from 2024’s HOPIUMFORTHEMASSES with “Goddamn White Trash“. It may have been a short set but one filled with undenniable intensity and drove the crowd into a frenzy. Just what you would expect from the band that pioneered the Industrial Music genre.

Setlist: Alert Level * Goddamn White Trash * Stigmata * Burning Inside * N.W.O. * Just One Fix * Thieves * Jesus Built My Hotrod

It was time for the first of the co-headliners, Alice Cooper. If you’ve never seen Alice Cooper live, you need to change that! In the late 1960’s, Cooper burst onto the scene with his original band and created a genre we’ve come to know as Shock Rock. Drawing from horror films and vaudeville, Alice has perfected a theatrical brand of Rock meant to “shock” audiences for over 60 (yes 60) years! From a live boa constrictor to a guillotine used for a “beheading”, Alice’s set is filled with fun and exciting props all while delivering the songs we have come to love from Alice over the years. It is pure entertainment and as of 2024 has made Alice Cooper a household name! Joining Alice on stage are long time band members Ryan Roxie (guitar, backing vocals), Chuck Garric (bass, backing vocals), Tommy Henriksen (guitar, backing vocals), Glen Sobel (drums) and the lovely Nita “Hurricane” Strauss (guitar, backing vocals). Fans are even treated to a guest appearance by Alice’s wife of 48 years, Sheryl Goddard.

Setlist: Lock Me Up * No More Mr. Nice Guy * I’m Eighteen * Under My Wheels * Billion Dollar Babies * Hey Stoopid * He’s Back (The Man Behind the Mask) * Snakebite * Feed My Frankenstein * Poison * Guitar Solo (with Nita Strauss) * Black Widow Jam * Ballad of Dwight Fry * Devil’s Food / Killer / I Love the Dead * Elected * School’s Out

It was finally time for Rob Zombie a.k.a Zombie to close out the night! Kicking off his energizing set atop a platform emblazoned with “Zombie“, Rob was joined on stage with Mike Riggs (guitar, backing vocals), Rob “Blasko” Nicholson, and Ginger Fish (drums). Zombie is known for mixing his love of horror movies and sci-fi with heavy metal to create a very distinctive sound that has been the driving force of his career (and eventually led him down the path to becoming a film director). It’s a fast-paced set filled with pyro, sparklers, balloon’s and video overload that takes the crowd on a rollercoaster ride through his extensive catalogue including White Zombie tracks, solo hits and fan favorites. It was as if the crowd had stepped into a dreamscape of Zombie’s playground and that is exactly how Rob Zombie intended it – a wall of sound so powerful, it melted the faces off all those in attendance. What a night of music!

Setlist: Demon Speeding * Super-Charger Heaven (White Zombie song) * Feel So Numb * Well, Everybody’s Fucking in a U.F.O. * What Lurks on Channel X? * Superbeast * The Lords of Salem * Dead City Radio and the New Gods of Supertown * The Triumph of King Freak (A Crypt of Preservation and Superstition) * Drum Solo * The Satanic Rites of Blacula * More Human Than Human (White Zombie song) * Living Dead Girl * Thunder Kiss ’65 (White Zombie song) * Dracula
