Brittany Bossert

Brittany Bossert was born and raised in Chattanooga, TN. Her love for photography started at a early age when she became fascinated with her dad’s Polaroid camera. She got her own camera at age 9 and never looked back. Brittany discovered black and white photography at 14 when she joined her high school’s photography club where she learned to develop film and print her own negatives. Many hours were spent in the darkroom all through high school and college. She also began to explore shooting concerts as a teen because it combined photography with her other passion, music. She started out shooting local and regional bands in her home town, then moving to larger festivals when she went off to college. She covered VooDoo Fest in New Orleans and had her first article and photos published in 2002. Keeping photography as a hobby, Brittany ended up majoring in nursing. She is now a family nurse practitioner at primary care office, but still loves to shoot live music whenever possible. She also loves to experiment with light and textures in her photographs trying to find the beauty in everyday people, places, and things.
