The North Carolina native was embraced by the audience and he was quick to share his gratefulness. Seth spent the evening delivering musically and lyrically rich tunes in which the inspiration from his wanderlust clearly sparkled. The spotlight of the night was on Are You Open?, Seth’s tenth studio album which was produced by drummer Jano Rix of The Wood BrothersThe new songs have been described as not being built from chords or lyrics, but instead as being born from grooves. Vibrant and alive, it is easy to become transfixed by their rhythms and melodies.

As the deep textures soak down to your inner core, you may start to realize you are doing more than just listening. That is, if you let yourself be open. “To me, being open means being vulnerable and exposed,” has explained Walker, “but that’s where the little nuggets of creative gold come from. I never planned an overall concept for this record, but each of these songs seemed to spin out from asking myself that one simple question.”
