From Press Release –
Eidola announces the release of Mend, their second full-length album, on January 17, 2025. This album comes less than a year after the release of their first album, Eviscerate.
Regarding their single, “The Faustian Spirit”, Andrew Michael Wells reflects:
“’The Faustian Spirit’ is a testament to the journey we’ve been on and pulls from a decade of evolution.”
Referring to Mend
“It’s the culmination of six albums, woven together with passion and energy. With Mend, we’re not holding back; we’re pushing the boundaries of what this band has always been about. Coming off of Eviscerate, Mend feels like the other side of the same coin – a fierce, powerful continuation of the themes that shape our work. If this track is just the beginning, we’re ready to take listeners to places they’ve never been with us before.”
While Eviscerate delved into darker themes of loss, grief, and despair, Mend explores redemption and healing against a more melodic and uplifting musical canvas. Check out the single, “The Faustian Spirit” below.
