New Jersey base and Rise Records recording artist Palisades released “Sober”, a new single from their forthcoming album which is scheduled to be released July 22nd via Rise Records. The single is the journey of someone who wants to be released from the stranglehold of their vices. Drummer Aaron Rosa said this about the single:
“‘Sober’ was initially inspired from seeing people close to me struggle with addiction. It wasn’t limited to just drugs and alcohol, but recognizing addiction in relationships with other people, as well as unhealthy habits in their day-to-day life. Sometimes we can be led down a dark path where we become obsessed with things that are just not good for us. We can ignore our loved one’s words of help and concern. We yearn to numb ourselves. Constant stumbling through life just wanting to feel a certain way which can blind our hearts as well as our judgment.”
The band Palisades is made up of Brandon Elgar (vocalist/bassist), Xavier Adames (guitarist), Matthew Marshall(guitarist), and Aaron Rosa (drummer). To preorder the album or to find out more information, please go to Rise Record link for more details.
